If you bought an item with Bike Hub Pay, you can download an Order Confirmation showing what you paid once the deal is complete. Bike Hub can't issue a tax invoice for the item itself, because the seller sold the item, not Bike Hub. If you need a tax invoice for the item, ask the seller.
When is the Order Confirmation available?
The Order Confirmation becomes available when the deal is complete, which is once Bike Hub has paid the seller. Only the buyer can download the Order Confirmation.
How do I download the Order Confirmation?
You can download the Order Confirmation from any of these three places. The Order Confirmation opens as a PDF in a new tab.
Your deals list at bikehub.co.za/classifieds/bike-hub-pay/deals: click Order Confirmation under the completed deal.
The deal page: under Looking for an invoice?, click Download Order Confirmation.
The "Deal complete" email we send when the seller is paid: click Download Order Confirmation.
What does the Order Confirmation show?
The Order Confirmation lists the deal number, the buyer and seller, the order and payment dates, the payment method, the delivery address (or "Collection"), the item and its condition, the item price, any delivery fee you paid, the Bike Hub Pay service fee if you paid it, and the total you paid.
Is the Order Confirmation a tax invoice?
No. The Order Confirmation is a record of your Bike Hub Pay payment, not a tax invoice for the item. Some insurers and other institutions accept an Order Confirmation as supporting documentation, so check with them directly.
Can I get a tax invoice for the Bike Hub Pay fee?
Yes, if you paid the Bike Hub Pay service fee. Bike Hub issues a VAT tax invoice for the Bike Hub Pay service fee. Download it from the Download BHP Fee Tax Invoice link in the "Deal complete" email.
I sold an item with Bike Hub Pay. Can I get an invoice?
The Order Confirmation and the Bike Hub Pay fee tax invoice are only available to the buyer. As the seller, you can see the amount paid out to you on the completed deal page. If you need a document for a Bike Hub Pay sale, contact us through the chat on the help centre and we'll help.
