How to request a refund after receiving the item

The steps to take to request a Bike Hub Pay refund

If you’ve received an item through Bike Hub Pay and need to return it for a refund, please follow the steps below before contacting support, This ensures the process can be completed quickly and without delays.

Step 1: Contact the seller first

Before requesting a refund from Bike Hub, please reach out to the seller and let them know:

  • What the issue is (e.g. not as described, incorrect size/model, fault, etc.)

  • That you would like to return the item for a refund

Refunds can only be processed once the seller has received and confirmed the return of the deal item.

You can contact the seller directly from the Bike Hub Pay deal page.

Step 2: Arrange the return

You and the seller should agree on how the item will be returned. This includes:

  • Which courier or delivery method will be used

  • Who will cover the return shipping cost (this is usually the buyer unless otherwise agreed)

  • The seller sharing their return delivery address

Once shipped, please keep the tracking number and share it with both the seller and Bike Hub.

Step 3: Prepare your details

To speed up processing, please have the following ready before contacting support:

  • Your banking details (for the refund payout)

  • The deal number

  • A brief description of the reason for return

  • The shipping tracking details (once available)

Step 4: Contact Bike Hub Support

Once the seller has agreed to the return, contact Bike Hub Support to request the refund.

Support will confirm with the seller and then process the refund back to your bank account (once the item is returned to the seller).

Step 5: Confirmation and Payment

  1. We confirm the refund request with the seller

  2. We process the refund via EFT (after the item has been returned to the seller)

  3. You receive the funds in your bank account
