Bike Hub website not displaying correctly

Are parts of the website not showing correctly or are you missing features?

Written by Nick Webb

If pages look wrong, images are missing, sections are blank, buttons don't respond or adverts aren't loading, work through the steps below in order. Most display problems are fixed by the first one.

1. Do a hard refresh

A hard refresh reloads the page and ignores the copy your browser has saved. This fixes most display problems on its own.

  • Chrome, Firefox or Edge on Windows: hold Ctrl and press F5.

  • Chrome, Firefox or Edge on Mac: hold Cmd and Shift and press R.

  • Safari on Mac: hold Opt and Cmd and press E to empty the cache, then press Cmd and R to reload.

  • On a phone or tablet: close the tab completely, then open the page again.

2. Try a private window

Open the page in a private or incognito window. If it works there, the problem is your saved data or a browser extension, not Bike Hub.

Ad blockers and privacy extensions are the usual culprits. Try switching them off for bikehub.co.za and reloading.

3. Clear your browser cache

If a hard refresh didn't help, clear your cache properly. In most browsers this is under Settings, then Privacy, then a "Clear browsing data" option. Choose cached images and files. You don't need to clear your passwords or history.

4. Check your browser is up to date

Bike Hub works on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you're several versions behind, update your browser and try again.

Still not working? It might be us

If you've done a hard refresh in an up-to-date browser and the page is still wrong, it may be a problem on our side rather than yours. Please tell us instead of clearing your cache again.

Click Contact Us in the footer of any Bike Hub page and include:

  • The link to the page that isn't working

  • A screenshot of what you're seeing

  • Which browser and device you're using

That's usually enough for us to reproduce it straight away.
