Boosts are optional upgrades that put your advert in front of more buyers, increasing your chances of a sale. You can add boosts when you first post your advert, or at any time afterwards.
The boosts available
Bump - moves your advert back to the top of the first page of listings and lifts it in search results.
Highlight - gives your advert a distinctive style so it stands out in the listings.
Top Ad - places your advert in the premium slots at the top of the category and search results, shown on rotation.
Homepage Ad - features your advert on the Bike Hub homepage.
You can combine boosts for maximum visibility. The current price and duration for each option are always shown on the boost screen, and you can compare them all on the Boosts page.
Boost your advert when you post it
While creating a new advert, scroll to the Boost Your Ad section on the Post your Ad page and select the boosts you'd like before you click Post Advert. You'll then be taken to the payment screen to complete your purchase.
Boost an advert you've already posted
You can boost a live advert at any time in one of two ways:
Click your profile icon in the top right-hand corner and select 'My Ads'. Find the advert you want to promote and click the 'Boost Ad' button.
Or open the advert itself and click the 'Boost My Ad' button.
Either option opens the same list of boosts. Select the ones you want and complete payment to activate them.
